Bio

I’m a visual artist based in Finland, currently working with ceramic sculpture. My recent work explores the idea of fragile architecture—structures that bend, break, or collapse under pressure—through forms shaped in porcelain and stoneware, often altered by the heat of the kiln.

Before ceramics, my practice was rooted in media art and installation. From 2009 to 2014, I created abstract 3D animations, exhibited as immersive installations in galleries and international media art festivals. Collaboration has always been central—particularly with composers and sound artists.

I studied architecture and media art at Aalto University, and those disciplines continue to shape how I think about space, tension, and structure. Alongside my art practice, I’ve also founded and run an organic vegetable farm, a fine dining pop-up in Helsinki, and a fermentation workshop focused on plant-based methods—all of which speak to my interest in process, transformation, and material knowledge.

Since 2017, my focus has shifted toward ceramics. I’ve worked extensively with woodfiring and porcelain, and my pieces have been shown in exhibitions across Europe and internationally. I’m a member of the Association of Finnish Sculptors and the Finnish Artists’ Association.
